Price: RM 40.00

It uses cups as tools to create a negative pressure through heating (fire cupping) or suction (air cupping), allowing them to adhere to specific acupoints or affected areas of the body. This process causes local congestion or blood stasis on the skin to prevent and treat diseases.

Treatment duration:

Approximately 8 – 10 mins for single cupping duration. The exact duration is to be determined by the practitioner based on the patient's skin reaction and condition. It should not be excessively long to avoid skin damage.

Post treatment Precautions:

Avoid cold and wind: Please avoid cold water bath within 24 hours after cupping as the skin pores remain dilated after cupping treatment. Patients should keep their body warm and avoid direct exposure to air conditioning or fans to prevent cold.

Get adequate rest: Rest adequately after treatment and avoid strenuous exercise.

Personal care: If skin blistering occurs (small blisters are normal), please keep the area clean and dry and avoid scratching. If blisters are excessively large or show signs of infection, do seek for immediate medical treatment.

Unsuitable groups:

1) Patients with skin wounds, severe allergies, infections, or ulcer

2) Patients with blood clotting issues and low blood platelet count

3) Pregnant women, patients with heart disease/cardiac conditions, extremely weak or severe edema

4) Patients with bone fracture(s) and joint dislocations
